What happens if I don’t keep my credit card current?

405 Express Lanes accounts are pre-paid accounts. If you set up your account with a credit card, your credit card will be charged each time your account requires additional funds. If your credit card declines or expires, we will be unable to replenish your pre-paid account balance. Your account may become ineligible for toll charges. Transactions will be processed as toll evasion violations, which are subject to penalties and collection action as required by law.
